Thomas Clamping found guilty on an indictment for breaking into the dwelling house of Sarah Browse, widow, in the parish of Lamarsh on 14th February 1773; and stealing therefrom 3 glass bottles (valued at 4d), 2 quarts of Mountain (valued at 2/-), a quart of Port wine (valued at 12d), 7 gold guineas, 1 gold half guinea, 1 gold quarter guinea and 6/- in money numbered.
